- Kneeling behind the lamb or kid. This position is ideal for young or weak animals. By positioning the lamb/ kid between your knees, , you can gently hold them in position to reduce struggling.
- Standing in front of the lamb/ kid. Once lambs and kids are feeding confidently, you can switch position and stand in front of them. This prepares her for drinking from a fence hanging feeding.
